The JDK Audio V10 is a single channel professional grade microphone preamp, designed from the ground up by API Engineers to offer a versatile and high quality input for microphones as well as instruments. The V10 conforms to API's 500 Series format and is a member of API's VPR Alliance.
The unit features both a mic and an instrument input, with switchable phantom power, phase, and pad. Metering is a multi-segmented LED with peak indication.
Like JDK's R20, the V10 provides premium analog microphone pre-amplification designed to provide a low noise, solid front end for all audio applications. Meticulously detailed and solidly constructed, the V10 features hands-on analog control of the gain level. Individual toggle switches control the selection of 48v, polarity, pad and a mic/instrument switch.

Where did we come from and why?
JDK Audio is a brand developed and engineered by API (Automated Processes, Inc.), a company that has been around since the late 1960s. While API has a stellar range of audio products that are benchmarks of the recording world, we decided to embark on a product line that would allow our engineering team to develop some new ideas that have been floating around our meetings for several years.
After all – we're a technology company – it's what drives us – it's what inspires us. Some of the newer technology available to us is pretty cool stuff – it just doesn't fit anywhere in the API product mix. JDK Audio was born out of a desire to expand the creative options we have available at API – no boundaries – no restrictions.
