Stereo192 SRC is a two channel hi-end Sample Rate Converter recording and mastering applications. The main feature of this converter is its outstanding sound quality which makes it suitable for the most demanding projects when preserving the original signal quality is a required. The sonic transparency of this unit far exceeds most of the software SRC algorithms.
The unit can operate in two modes:
-Synchronous SRC- where the output clock is synchronized to input clock. This mode is recommended for Digital to Digital transfers.
-Asynchronous SRC- where the output clock is generated by internal clock generator. This mode is recommended for Digital to Analog transfers where the SRC proceeds a D/A converter in order to upsample the signal and provide 100% jitter immunity and removal.

Users choose Mytek converters primarily for their outstanding sound quality. The sound of Mytek converters can be described as "transparent". We design our converters to be as faithful to the signal as possible, rather than follow philosophy of some other manufacturers who offer "analog" or "tube" sounding converters. Mytek converters are closest to a straight wire, which is especially evident when used at full resolution. Sonically they are equal or better than the most expensive mastering converters. For example, Stereo192ADC produces 20dB (10 times) less distortion than typical converters found in budget recording equipment. On Mytek website you can find and download various sound samples to evaluate Stereo series sound quality and compare it to the sound of other high end converter units.
